❤️🌳 HAPPY TU BISHVAT 🌳❤️
Tu BiShvat (ט״ו־בִּשְׁבָט ṭū bišḇāṭ) is a Jewish holiday also called “New Year of the Trees” 🌳🌲
The name of the holiday means 15th of the month of Shevat, which is the central day of the Jewish month of Shevat.
The celebration represents a sort of thanksgiving for the fertility of the earth for the year and an occasion to wish for a better harvest for the following year.
Some particularly important symbolic meanings can be associated with the feast of Tu BiShvat.
Above all, the attachment to one’s land and the joy in being able to enjoy the fruits that, thanks to God’s will, blossom from it. Attachment to the land is a central theme in Judaism. The recognition that the fruits of the earth are the fruits of God’s work of creation makes them even more dear to us.
