Butterfly collection launch event at Aimo Room Concept store
On Thursday 19th of April, Aimo Room Concept Store presented my new collection: Valentina Nessi Butterfly Collection.
During the event, in the prestigious boutique in Lugano, two beautiful models of the Top Model Switzerland agency: Laura Balmelli and Valentina Silva showcase six differents outfits of the new spring summer 2019 collection. This is therefore an exclusive preview and pre-sale at Aimo Room concept store in Contrada Sassello Lugano.
The dresses of the new Butterfly collection are hand embroidered. I wanted to combine the pret-à-porter with haute couture, creating a ready-coutue collectionwith simple lines and shapes, creating clothes that can be easily worn in everyday life, but with a touch of couture in the care of details and embroideries.
The journalist and blogger Valentino Odorico was able to present at best of the concept of my new collection. The butterfly is a symbol of freedom and joy of living. The butterfly symbolizes metamorphosis, change and evolution: the caterpillar turns into a butterfly, just as women have to pull out the butterfly that is within us; Be brave and do not be afraid to show our beauty. The women who wear Valentina Nessi collection are women who love to live and share moments with happiness and joy.

Guests of the evening are the Mayor of Lugano Marco Borradori, Marla Fritz, finalist at Miss Switzerland, Vera Atyushkina model and ex-velina that presented her new calendar “Hollywoodland” and many high people including friends and fashion fans. The event was a real success, a cocktail event organized to the finest detail, from the choice of catering Ape Events who prepared a delicious mini hamburgers and pasticceria Ricigliano that prepared amazing cupcakes decorated with butterflies.
