The Venice International Film Festival is an historical festival , who turned seventy this year . It is celebrated this milestone by offering movies of the red carpet with actors present in previous editions ( some of them were also in black and white) . The viewer who has had the opportunity to see more than one movie perceives that were not chosen at random: if many festivals are characterized by “commercial” projections, with easy, immediate and superficial content, the Venice film proposes movie that stimulate reflection. After you exit the room you continue to think about what you have just seen . It does not matter if the movie was good or not , the important thing is to remain imprisoned in metaphors , reflecting on issues related to the existence and the problems of humanity. This is not niche films with unknown cast , but also foreign masterpieces , with renowned actors . Just think of the film that opened the Festival : Gravity . It has the ability to capture the attention of everyone in the room , even those who are not fond of the genre. ” It is not the type of film that I usually go to see, but I have to say that it is a sensational film , the effects are amazing and I would love to delve into the back stage , to understand how was shot ,” said Laura Squizzato , journalist and TV presenter on Rai 2 , after the screening . ” Who knows how it is to be in the Space” continues the twin sister Silvia Squizzato (also a journalist and presenter on Rai 2 ) .
The Festival is not only films, but also glamor, glitz , dinners, parties and sparkling parades in a magical setting in Venice thanks to the elegance of the rooms and hotels . The holidays are numerous both the Lido, which in its sumptuous palaces that overlook the famous canals in the world. The events to attend are many and varied . Saturday, August 31 took place in the space Maserati at the Hotel Excelsior, Venice Fashion Night , presented by the charming Jo Squillo, where they paraded numerous brands including Moschino , Cavalli and Impero Couture.
The atmosphere walking around the Palazzo del Cinema is like a dream . All are there to live an emotion that goes beyond the ordinary. People walk with camera in her purse ready to capture and pen and paper to ask for autographs of celebrities who walk quietly in the corridors of the famous Excelsior Hotel . In short, a unique luxury experience, lived a dream with open eyes shown in theaters but also in the future that might be realized .
La Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia è un festival storico, che ha compiuto quest’anno settant’anni. Si è festeggiato questo traguardo proponendo filmati di red carpet con attori presenti nelle precedenti edizioni (alcuni erano anche in bianco e nero). Lo spettatore che ha avuto l’opportunità di vedere più di un film percepisce che non sono stati scelti a caso: se molti festival sono caratterizzati da proiezioni ”commerciali”, dal contenuto facile , immediato e superficiale, quello di Venezia propone film che stimolano la riflessione. Dopo che si è usciti dalla sala si continua a pensare a ciò che si è appena visto. Poco importa se il film è piaciuto o meno, l’importante è rimanere imprigionati nelle metafore, riflettendo sulle tematiche legate all’esistenza e alle problematiche dell’uomo. Non si tratta di film di nicchia, con cast sconosciuto, ma di veri capolavori anche stranieri, con attori di fama internazionale. Basti pensare al film che ha aperto il Festival: Gravity. Ha la capacità di captare l’attenzione di tutti all’interno della sala, anche di chi non è amante del genere. “Non è la tipologia di film che di solito vado a vedere, ma devo proprio dire che è una pellicola sensazionale, gli effetti sono stupefacenti e mi piacerebbe approfondire il back stage, per capire come é stato girato”, ha commentato Laura Squizzato, giornalista e conduttrice televisiva su Rai 2, dopo la proiezione. ”Chissà come è stare nello spazio” prosegue la sorella gemella Silvia Squizzato (anche lei giornalista e conduttrice su Rai 2).
Il Festival non è solo proiezioni di film, ma anche glamour, sfarzo, cene, feste e sfilate sfavillanti in un ambiente magico grazie a Venezia, all’eleganza degli ambienti e degli alberghi ospitanti. Le feste sono numerose sia al Lido, che nei sontuosi palazzi che si affacciano sui canali più famosi al mondo. Gli eventi a cui partecipare sono molti e di vario genere. Sabato 31 agosto si è svolto, nello spazio Maserati presso l’Hotel Excelsior, la Venice Fashion Night, presentata dalla fascinosa Jo Squillo, dove hanno sfilato numerosi brand, tra cui Moschino, Cavalli e Impero Couture.
L’atmosfera che si respira camminando intorno al Palazzo del Cinema è da sogno. Tutti sono li per vivere un’emozione che va al di fuori dell’ordinario. Le persone girano con macchina fotografica in borsetta pronta a immortalare e carta e penna per chiedere gli autografi alle celebrità, che passeggiano tranquillamente nei corridoi del famoso Hotel Excelsior. Insomma un’esperienza unica, un sogno vissuto ad occhi aperti proiettato nelle sale ma anche in un futuro che forse si realizzerà.
