Last Friday I attended the fashion show promoted by Accademia del Lusso, Italian institution specializing in the field of fashion and design.
The 2016 fashion show, entitled NOWGENERATIONS was preceded by a contest, promoted in all school offices, where they honored the 18 best students.
Each of the young designers had the opportunity to present a capsule collection of 3 looks, with the aim of celebrating the trans-generational beauty.
The result is amazing, the exaltation of the urban jungle charm.
In perfect harmony with the tempa, the choice of location: the new building of the Lombardy Region in Milan.
The show was held in the scenic square in front of the skyscraper, more than 160 meters, designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, Caputo Partnership and Sistema Duemila.
The complex, which rises on the area previously occupied by the so called Bosco di Gioia.
It opened in 2011, becoming over the years one of the centers of the city nightlife. In fact, we are increasingly organized events related to sports, art and fashion.
A winning mix who knew how to exalt the soul of NOWGENERATIONS: the link between past and present, represented by the redevelopment, really well done, of an urban space into disuse, and the momentum towards the future, which are not were the real stars of the evening, obscuring the presence of faces of the star system such as Sara Ventura, Giusi Ferré, Matthew Bone and many others.
I thank the dear Valentina, for welcoming me into her house, leaving me this space on her blog where I show you now my Top Five of the looks presented at the fashion show.
