TOP FIVE FASHION RESOLUTIONS

In my previous post I talk about my 2016 Resolution and the new good intentions for the new year concerning life but I didn’t focus on fashion. As many of you that follow and read my blogs are fashionistas or simply fashion lovers I choose to make a special Fashion Resolution post.

Now is the perfect time to start planning your life-projects but also your fashion trends for 2016. A New Year it’s always a good occasion to try new looks and different style. Fashion is like a game, and it’s more funny when you play with different looks.

Here you can find the top 5 fashion resolutions to make for the new year

1. CLEAN YOUR WARDROBE

First thing to do at the beginning of the year it’s to clean your wardrobe and keep only the best pieces. Take the time to look at each item in your wardrobe and keep only what it looks better on you. Doesn’t make sense to have a wardrobe full of clothes that you don’t wear anymore or doesn’t fit well on you. Each item in your closet should make you feel beautiful and amazing.

The clothes your don’t use anymore you can sell it to a second hand shop or even donate it to charity.

2. NEVER FORGET BASICS

Basic clothes those pieces that you always have to have in your wardrobe. For basics I mean jeans, white t-shirt, sweater, bomber jacket, sneakers, also the little black dress is a basic. Also underwear are basics and are essentials to your daily fashion like. At lease you live in a nudist island. Lol

Those basics elements are the key items that you always need in your wardrobe or in your luggage when you travel.

3. INVEST IN QUALITY PIECES
When you buy good quality clothes you never loose your money, instead it’s a good investment because you can wear those pieces for many years and even pass them to your children. For example I really like to wear my mother bags or even my grandma coat. Those items even after many years they always look modern and fashionable. Also a good quality of jeans or leather jacket is always fashionable. So it’s better to invest a little more in one good quality piece then the same amount for low quality, Remember that quality stay forever.

4. DON’T BE A FASHION VICTIM TO EVERY SINGLE TRENDS

It’s ok to be a fashionista, but don’t fall victim of the fashion system.

Be selective in the trends you see on the runway or in the magazine because not every trends will work for every person. Follow your own style and wear only what it woks better on you. Remember that a good master piece like a simple black dress it’s always good and you can play with accessories, jewels, shoes and bags to make it different and personalized to your own style.

5. PLAY WITH DIFFERENT STYLE

Don’t take fashion to seriously, remember that fashion is like a game and you have to enjoy and have fun to change your style and try different looks. One day you can play the role of a bon-ton chic girl, and an other day be more rock’n roll.

You can also play with fashion by wearing an evening dress for breakfast and a casual outfit to go to dinner or clubbing. Try to be different of what other people are doing or are used to do. Be different is a sign of strong personality and show that you are very self-confident and also have a good humor because you don’t take fashion to seriously. Fashion is fun, so enjoy it.
